After more than 90 years in the automotive industry, the Mossy family’s business longevity is a clear sign of their willingness to embrace an ever-evolving market as well as their attentiveness to the needs of customers. In 1921, family patriarch Wiley Mossy began selling cars in with the goal of earning enough to open his own dealership.
As the automotive industry experienced growing pains such as manufacturer strikes, wartime business decrease, and wage inflation, Wiley successfully steered the business towards prosperity, growing it – and his family – along the way. Throughout the years, Wiley had the pleasure of introducing his sons and grandsons to the family business while expanding the company.

The implementation of the Mossy Auto Group’s sales tenets focusing on the customer experience dates back to the 1940’s when Wiley introduced a “fair market pricing” philosophy in response to the automobile industry’s high demand but low product availability. The positive response bolstered both their business and reputation among customers and other successful industry professionals. The group continued to grow in San Diego and the family’s processes to enhance retail performance were further refined.

I had a great experience buying a car here yesterday. I came in a couple times within a couple weeks to find the best deal for the specific car I wanted. They were able to work with my budget, & showed me all the options with my down payment/monthly budget/credit score, etc. Financing across the street took a couple hours, but they were friendly & professional too.

A little background on my situation: I had a 2016 chevy cruze which had damage to the entire front of the car and I desperately needed to get out and into something new ( a 2021 ford!!!). I have been talking to them for a couple months, I have some challenging things on my credit. But Skylar was able to work some magic and they got me approved With a Bank. Skylar actually choose this car Jetta Volkswagen 2014 and I wasn't to open to a Volkswagen but I am so dang happy I trusted Skylar and what he felt was best for me all around payment maintenance gas mileage etc. and it is so much more as you can see in the Videos the Car is so beautiful leather seats sunroof stereo!!!!!

I went to Mossy Auto Exchange the day of the grand opening, was very impressed and surprised at how comfortable I felt at this dealership.
I wanted to stay because it was so relaxed (loved the swings!). I worked with Danny Fabian and he was very easy to deal with, no pressure at all. He showed me a very nice certified pre-owned Corolla. When it came down to numbers, he had his manager Andrew speak with me and gave me my options and now I got a new car! It was very easy!

I have been considering selling my 2019 Tacoma in light of the current used car market but wasn't sure whether I would really be able to take advantage. I traded in my truck last night & forgot to grab my prescription sunglasses .
